Nollywood actor, Kenneth Chiwetalu, popularly called Aguba, in this interview, says he wants to get married to a virgin girl after rejecting a lady on social media proposing to him. He speaks after the General Overseer of Omega Power Ministry, Apostle Chinyere Chibuzor, gave him accommodation in his free estate, having been reported homeless. He also speaks on his experience in the entertainment industry since 2003.

How do you feel about your being here in Port Harcourt as OPM has given to free accommodation here in Port Harcourt?

I am very happy for the intervention. I am very happy that this man of God brought me out from where rain was beating me to give me shelter. This has shown that he is truly a man of God. But somehow I am not happy because, as I left Ababa for Port Harcourt urgently, all my belongings are still outside.

When you are left in the middle of thieves your mind will never be at rest. People may go there and pick my property because I left them at the place I live in. I patch broken plastics and repair umbrellas. All the things I use to do the work are outside. Last Sunday I went to church, before I came back, somebody had gone broken into my cage and carried the gas cylinder I use to work. I am not happy. Somebody came and used his phone and took video of me where I am staying; that is how this man of God saw it and called me to come. He said he wants to help me. I came to answer him. I didn’t prepare for the journey. I was thinking it would be only a visit. My church in Ababa said they were preparing accommodation for me in the pastorium. But for over 15 years they are still on the project. God has told th hiem to keep me. God knows that I am a film person and that is the reason He asked them to keep me safe. People can promise but they will not fulfil.

For how long have you been in the movie industry, and how do you make money?

I have been in the film industry since 2003. They do not pay me. They cheat me. They have not paid me up to N20, 000 before. Each film I do they pay me N5, 000. Only one man who came from Calabar to do film paid me N10, 000. I am being cheated so much. There is one film I did called Ugly Landlord, we agreed that I will be paid N100, 000. I took the lead role. I did everything with my costume and props. After the production, they gave me N200 that I should go and eat food that they will see me later. I asked if that is how they do, they said I should go. One Amayo Imo wrote the script. I did the film and it is selling very well. If people tell him, he tells them that he has paid me. He made money from that movie, because people were interested in it.

Like how much have you made in the movie industry since 2003?I is supposed to be millions, but they did not give it to me. One producer recently came to shoot film and I worked with them. He promised to give me N20, 000. At the end of the production he left without paying me. I called him later he said I should come to Jos, Plateau State to take the money. 

Do you know how much it will cost me to travel from Enugu to Jos? I did Agaba, what they paid me was N2, 500. For featuring in Igwososha they paid me N5, 000. Odum na Akwa Eke, I was also paid N5, 000 despite how they flogged me there. Because the pain was too much, I told them to increase my money and they added N1, 000 to make it N6, 000; that was my highest.

Ghana president Nana Akufo Addo, was astonished when he saw the video of the IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu that appeared and went viral online. He made a statement that “there is something divine behind this boy”

Furthermore, Nana Addo stated that “I will be punctually up and present to listen to the coming broadcast of the IPOB leader, that boy is the hope of every reasonable Nigerian most especially this time that the country is in a confused state with no remedy, Nnamdi Kanu is not a politicians but the hope of the region is on him to refabricate the decomposing structure created by the British”.

Akufoh Addo’s statement is striking and something to think about. It is true that right now Nigeria is going through some though turbulence, hunger, and poverty have taken over the so-called giant of Africa, a country rich with all sorts of human and natural resources with an active population that can transform the world. People like Kanu saw it that the leader of the country and those who preside over things are people that were brought up under colonial and slavery mentality, in that case, it will be difficult for the country to grow, it is true that the country Nigeria is a mish-mash of people with conflicting ideology, conflicting value system and there is no way the country will move forward and better than it is now because of the main problems.

The problem if Nigeria is not Buhari neither is it corruption it is a foundational problem that can be settled regionally, not until Nigeria take the proactive initiatives to drive the foundation that has eaten over the fabrics of the country by foundation and chase British indirect rule away from their system Nigeria will be like a ship that moves one step forward and three steps backward.

A new president can not do anything better even if Buhari decides to step down or being voted out the next president will still find it difficult they will only pass time doing nothing, stealing from anything they can find and Nigerians will remain in poverty, starvation, and death.

THE LEADER OF THE IPOB NNAMDI KANU IS SEEN LIVE AT THE WALL OF KING SOLOMON'S TEMPLE IN JERUSALEM. HE WENT TO PRAY... The ways of EZE CHUKWUOKIKEABIAMA is not the ways of man. The Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) worldwide Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu praying today being 19th October 2018 in the City of David at the Western Wall of the Temple of Solomon.

In a short video that has been published by several unreliable sources on Twitter and YouTube, Kanu was spotted praying at the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem.

Many people have also posted pictures that the IPOB leader posed in with other people, with many already speculating the reasons for his reappearance.

While many people see his reappearance as vindication of the government's position that Kanu was running from the law, others allege that he's likely making a reappearance to disrupt the 2019 general elections.

Kanu had previously been reported to have been spotted in Ghana with his wife, Uchechi, in February 2018, but she claimed weeks later to be unaware of his whereabouts and accused the government of illegally holding him hostage.

"Nigerian Army should tell the world what has happened to him because they were the last people who were in touch with him," she said.

Pulse cannot independently verify the authenticity of the pictures and video as of yet as efforts to reach IPOB spokesperson, Emma Powerful, have proved abortive.

However, according to a report by The Punch, Kanu's brother, Emmanuel, confirmed that it was him in the video that's making the rounds on social media.

Emmanuel also told The Punch that IPOB's deputy director, Uche Ejiofor, has also confirmed that it was Kanu in the video.

"I can confirm to you that the person in the video is Kanu. He was praying in the video that we saw. We are happy that he is still alive and we will try to establish communication with him," he said.

Kanu's troubles with the Nigerian government started after he was arrested by the Department of State Security (DSS) in 2015 and spent two years in custody until he was granted bail on health grounds in April 2017.

30-yr-old man sleeping with own underaged daughters

A 30-year-old commercial bus driver alleged to have been having carnal knowledge of his two step- daughters for years have been arrested in Bariga area of Lagos.

Trouble started for the victims (names withheld) aged 13 and 16 respectively, after their parents separated.

Their mother, a cleaner at an undisclosed hospital, moved her three children to her new home, after she remarried.

Their step-father, Femi Peter Abidoye, as gathered, started violating the eldest of the girls, who was 15 years.

Unable to bear the sexual abuse, she reportedly fled home, leaving her two siblings at the mercy of the pedophile.

Abidoye, who is also an auto Mechanic, according to the two younger girls, started the sexual assault by fingering, before progressing to penetration.

The abuse, according to them, continued for years until they turned 13 and 15 years.

They also claimed to have reported to their mother but that she disbelieved them.

The bubble burst after the children complained to the Child Protection Network , at Shomolu, from where they were directed to the Bariga Police Division, two months ago.

Vanguard learned that Abidoye fled his 27, Seriki Compound Bariga, apartment, in a bid to evade arrest.

He was however arrested yesterday, when he attended his mother’s burial ceremony.

Coordinator of the Child Protection Unit, Mr Toyin Okanlawon, who spoke with Vanguard, said: “When the girls were taken to the police station, they looked haggard . From the station, they were taken to the Child Protection Unit under the Ministry of Youths and Social Development, Alausa, from where they were linked to a shelter, since two months ago.

“The perpetrator has been abusing the girls for about four years. His wife, who is nursing a five-month-old baby, also has a two years old girl for him. She was present at the station. Her high level of neglect was berated by the Police.

“The girls also mentioned one Mr. Emmanuel of same address whom they said told them not to tell the Police that their father was sexually abusing them.”

our news gathered that the home had concluded preparation to enroll the girls in primary schools, having been out of school for years.

During interrogation, the suspect, who initially denied the allegation, said he wanted to teach them a lesson for being defiant.

New yam festival is a period that is highly respected in the area.  

The people of Ohafia Udumaeze celebrated 2018 NEW YAM FESTIVAL in another grand style some of the Villages include ELU,  AMAEKPU, NKWEBI & EBEM all in Ohafia Community out of the 26 villages that make up the community, respectively they did their Igba Ekpe IriJi 2018, as it attracted top government workers to the area. The sons and daughters of Ohafia both home and abroad came in mass to witness the occasion.

Collapsed Usumani Amamba Bridge needs urgent attention

The people of Amamba in Abiriba under Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia-State, bring the notice to the government and the general public over a collapsed bridge that leads to their farmlands history has it that in the olden days the said road lead to Uzuakoli, Umuahia, Aba and Port-Harcourt.

The community heads appeal to the State, Federal, Government and general public to help them to restore the said bridge back to normal before it will cause more harm to the community.

One of the community men told our reporters that this is 15 years since he has been taking care of that same bridge including other rivers all in Abiriba, and that what they need is for the Government to come to their aid building a new bridge for them.
