Collapsed Usumani Amamba Bridge needs urgent attention

The people of Amamba in Abiriba under Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia-State, bring the notice to the government and the general public over a collapsed bridge that leads to their farmlands history has it that in the olden days the said road lead to Uzuakoli, Umuahia, Aba and Port-Harcourt.

The community heads appeal to the State, Federal, Government and general public to help them to restore the said bridge back to normal before it will cause more harm to the community.

Speaking with the reporter

 

One of the community men told our reporters that this is 15 years since he has been taking care of that same bridge including other rivers all in Abiriba, and that what they need is for the Government to come to their aid building a new bridge for them.
