I acknowledge the Chairman of the occasion, Chief Engr. Ndukwe Iko and the Father of the day, Chief Okwara Osonwa Okwara.
I also want to thank my colleague, Hon. Mezie Nwaubani who stood in for the Speaker of ABHA, Rt. Hon. Chikwendu Kanu. The commissioner for Information Abia state, Chief John Okiyi Kalu for sharing in our joy too.

In a special way I want to thank the Udumaeze of Ohafia, Prof. E. L. U. Imaga and all the traditional rulers of the various communities who were present yesterday. I thank all the members of the 2018 Iri Ji Ohafia planning committee for their effort towards ensuring a smooth celebration.
